AGNIVEER VAYU Qualification and Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should pass Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics,Physics and English from an Recognised board with 50% marks in English. OR Candidates Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / OR Candidates Passed Two years Vocational course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards / ii) Must posses valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence. b) For other than Science Stream Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE |

Physical Standard:
Candidates should check required physical standard like Height,Weight,Chest etc before applying this form.
- Height:

- Male Candidate: candidate should posses minimum height 152.5 cms.
- Female Caddidate: minimum height should be 152 cms.
*Those candidates comes from North East or hilly area of Uttarakhand minimum height 147 cms and for Lakshadweep candidates 150 cms will be eligible.
- Weight: According to height and are.
- Chest: Mininimum range of expansion of 05 cms.
- Hearing: normal hearing,can hear forced wisper from 6 meters distance by each separately.
- Dental:goog set of teeth.
- Eye Sight: candidate eye should be 6/12 each eye, and correctable to 6/6 each eye.
Maximum limits of Refractive error: Hypermetropia: +2.0D
Myopia: 1D including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism
colour vision: CP-II
Note-the candidates who have done Corneal Surgery(PRK/LASIK) is not allowed.
General Health: Candidates should have good health and should be free form any chronic, active or latent, medical or surgical disability or communicable disease, infection and skin disease.
Salary & Allowances:
Agniveervayu will be paid 30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increament.
And Risk and Hardship Allowances, Dress and Travel allowances will be paid.
Other perks such as Ration, Clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession(LTC) will be provided.
After completion of 4 year according to the performance during the four year service upto 25% of each specific batch of Agniveervayu will be enrolled in regular cadre of IAF.
And Remaining 75% of Agniveervayu will be given Seva Nidhi Package after successful completion of service.
